You are what you eat!!

“If we eat wrongly, no doctor can cure us, If we eat rightly no doctor is needed.” Victor G Racine.

The doctor of the future will give no medicine. But will interest his patients in the care of human frame in diet and in the cause of prevention of disease. Thomas Edison (1847-1931)
“Proper nutrition, not medi-care is the key to good health” Dr Mercola

“If this country is to survive, the best-fed-nation myth had better be recognized for what it is: propaganda designed to produce wealth but not health”  Adelle Davis (25 Feb 1904-31 May 1974)

“The spread of BSE [mad cow disease] in Europe has revealed how secret alliances between agribusiness and government can endanger the public health. It has shown how the desire for profit can overrule every other consideration. British agricultural officials were concerned as early as 1987 that eating meat from BSE-infected cattle might pose a risk to human beings. That information was suppressed for years, and the possibility of any health risk was strenuously denied, in order to protect exports of British beef. Scientists who disagreed with the official line were publicly attacked and kept off government committees investigating BSE. Official denials of the truth delayed important health measures.”
“A generation ago, three-quarters of the money used to buy food in the United States was spent to prepare meals at home. Today about half of the money used to buy food is spent at restaurants--mainly at fast food”
The above are just some quotations about health from the 1920s to the present. We are just what we eat.
What we sow into our body today, is what we will reap in the future to come. Many decades of eating out in restaurants, and negligent to eat wholesome, natural food has earned USA as the sickest nation on earth.
60% of all personal bankruptcies in USA is related to medical bills. Steven Brill wrote in 04 March 2013 of Time magazine front cover story. The US health care system is fraught with gross overcharges and outright billing fraud. In “Bitter Pill-why medical bills are killing us, Brill dissects our profit driven sickness management industry posing as health care. In part and I quote from his article.
Recchi’s bill and six others examined line by line for this article offer a closeup window into what happens when powerless buyers... meet sellers in what is the ultimate seller’s market.
The result is a uniquely American gold rush for those who provide everything from wonder drugs to canes to high-tech implants to CT scans to hospital bill-coding and collection services. In hundreds of small and midsize cities across the country... the American health care market has transformed tax-exempt 'non-profit' hospitals into the towns’ most profitable businesses and largest employers, often presided over by the regions’ most richly compensated executives.
And in our largest cities, the system offers lavish paychecks even to midlevel hospital managers, like the 14 administrators at New York City’s Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center who are paid over $500,000 a year, including six who make over $1 million.
Taken as a whole, these powerful institutions and the bills they churn out dominate the nation’s economy and put demands on taxpayers to a degree unequaled anywhere else on earth. In the U.S., people spend almost 20% of the gross domestic product on health care, compared with about half that in most developed countries. Yet in every measurable way, the results our health care system produces are no better and often worse than the outcomes in those countries. According to one of a series of exhaustive studies done by the McKinsey & Co. consulting firm, we spend more on health care than the next 10 biggest spenders combined: Japan, Germany, France, China, the U.K., Italy, Canada, Brazil, Spain and Australia.
We may be shocked at the $60 billion price tag for cleaning up after Hurricane Sandy. We spent almost that much last week on health care. We spend more every year on artificial knees and hips than what Hollywood collects at the box office...”

The road to health is not complicated and clear cut. The Amish people have no cancer according to Journal cancer causes and control, Ohio University scientists. The Amish people live on their land, grows their own food and avoid processed food in their daily living.
John D Rockefeller (July 8th 1839-23rd  May 1937 (98 years old)
In 1901, the Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research was officially launched first of its kind in America.A year later Rockefeller added $1 million to the original $200 million endowments to build up and equip a major laboratory on upper east side of New York City.
Dr H F Biggar, a homeopath as a personal physician to John, maintaining a basic distrust in modern medicine, while spending millions to sponsor its advance.

AS you can see above big Pharma was invented by  Rockefeller to make money not heal sicknesses.

The Bitter truth is that when you go to your western doctor, you are seen as a potential market for the medical factory’s products, for Big Pharma, there is no financial incentive to heal you, because a patient cured is a customer lost.Even if you are not sick, big pharma is still targeting you, trying to convince you that you are ill so that you will try its latest pill.

SO what is the solution, if we can’t trust the established medical sickness industry to heal us. The answer is in our hands, prevention. Drink pure water, eat natural food from the earth, and avoid drugs and medication from the big Pharma. The Amish people achieved health this way, why not we.?

The most important medical test often overlook

The Most Important Medical Test
Important Message From

Recently I spoke at a health conference and had several great conversations with many health-conscious people. Although the questions I was asked during and after my presentation ran the gamut, there was one general reaction that came through loud and clear. Sheer surprise. You see, I talked about the number that is THE most telling indicator about your state of health and is arguably the most important number to pay attention to if you want a life free of pain, inflammation and disease. It’s not your weight. Your BMI? Nope. No - it's not your cholesterol. Or your triglycerides. It's not even your blood pressure !

It's your
pH. (pH factor indicates acidic versus alkaline ratio in your body) Here is what kept my audience on the edge of their seats.
Alkaline
pH--why in the world? In a flashback to high school chemistry, remember that the pH scale goes from 0 to 14.
0 is pure acid, 7 is neutral, and 14 is pure alkaline. You came into this world with an alkaline pH. It's how your body was designed and how you're meant to stay. Without exception, ALL of your organs, tissues, bones and joints work best when your blood pH is slightly alkaline (around 7.365).
If your
pH is even just a little too acidic, that's when your body can begin to literally break down. Aches and pains begin to creep up. Tumors
(including cancer) can flourish. Diseases can rear their ugly heads. Although a number of factors can contribute to an acid
pH,
(including stress, environmental toxins, lack of exercise and smoking), far and away the number one factor is your FOOD.
Eating acid-creating foods (especially fast food, processed food, meat, dairy, refined carbs and hard to digest meal combinations) pulls
your
pH down toward the acid range. On the other hand, when your diet contains many alkaline foods (like fresh fruits and vegetables) and is easy for your body to break down, you encourage a more alkaline pH.

A snapshot of your innards Let's take a look at your innards and see some examples of how your body can break down when you're
acidic: Your Heart Your heart pumps an unbelievable 13,000 quarts of blood a day--enough to fill a small swimming pool! If there are toxins in your
blood, that puts a huge strain on your heart to do its job. Acid wastes in your system also rob your blood of oxygen, which causes your heart tissue to
deteriorate. And you don't want your ticker breaking down, do you?
Your Liver The liver serves over 300 different functions-with two of the most important being to remove acid wastes from your blood and make alkaline enzymes for your body. If you're like most people who live in industrialised countries, your blood resembles a war zone with far too many toxins floating around, and your liver is constantly being stressed cleaning them out. If that goes on long enough, it can completely shut
down. And so will you.

Your Pancreas The pancreas is super important... in fact, it's responsible for completing digestion in your small intestine. And it helps regulate blood sugar by producing insulin. Like I said, super important. More so than any other organ, the pancreas is extremely sensitive to your pH and absolutely CANNOT function when you're acidic -- it MUST have an alkaline environment. If your pancreas is not working right, you can be looking at type II diabetes,(which can kill you FAST).

Your Kidneys
The kidneys create urine and help get rid of excess acid from the body. About one litre of blood passes through them every single minute! If
your blood has too much acid and toxins, your kidneys are over-stressed and unable to do their job. (Ever hear of dialysis? Kidney stones?)

Your Stomach
When your stomach properly breaks down your food, the small intestine can finish the job and digestion is completed like it should be. But
foods that are acid-creating are hard for your stomach to break down, and in its efforts to do its job, it may overproduce acid. The result can be poorly digested food, fewer nutrients being absorbed, and acid rising up into your throat. Acid reflux, GERD, IBS, hiatal hernia and gastritis are all on the rise and this is why. The typical American diet is LOADED with hard to digest, acid-creating food.

Your Colon
Wastes are supposed to easily pass through the colon and "out your back door." But if digestion has not been accomplished properly, they don't move through like they should. Instead they can clog your colon walls, become a breeding ground for bacteria and disease and cause you to put on weight. Plus, the toxins can be reabsorbed into your bloodstream, make you ill and encourage the development of food sensitivities. It’s no surprise that colon cancer is the number one cancer killer, and that so many people suffer with IBS, diverticulosis/itis and chronic constipation, is it?

An acid
pH is GOOD -- when you're DEAD There is one time when you're SUPPOSED to have an acid pH. When you're DEAD. Your body automatically becomes acidic upon death so it can decompose like it's supposed to. I don't want that happening any time too soon, do you?
So... how do we get this magic 7.365
pH? Hopefully you've gotten the idea of how important it is to have a slightly alkaline pH while you're still breathing and vertical.
Now I'll tell you the 4 steps to attaining and maintaining an optimal alkaline
pH:
Step 1- Check your pH at regular intervals
You can get a saliva test or urine test kit at most drug stores or health food stores. The saliva test is the least accurate and urine is slightly more accurate. You can also have your blood tested by a doctor. This is the most accurate measure but also the most expensive. If you  want this done and  your doctor won't do it, find one who  will. The normal
pH for urine is about 6.5-6.8 (it's acidic because  urine is an exit for toxins), for saliva 7.0-7.4 and for blood 7.365 is your  target. If you're testing your pH with saliva or urine, it's important to perform the test several times at different times of the  day, since pH can  be affected by what you eat or drink.

Step 2- Drink pure water
Aim for at least 5-8 glasses per day. Stir in a little fresh-squeezed lemon juice to make it more alkaline if
you'd like. Alkalizing drops are also available at health food  stores. Water means water and does not mean coffee, tea, Gatorade, soda  or other sweetened drinks. But avoid drinking tap  water as it can contain  chlorine and/or fluoride. Strive to drink filtered or bottled water.

Step 3- Eat more alkaline foods
The important thing to note here is you CAN continue  to eat some  "good" acid foods that have valid nutrients - so if you don't want to give up that juicy steak you love or that roasted chicken,  you don't have to. Just make sure that those acid foods are counterbalanced by a good portion of alkaline foods. 50/50 is a good place to  start, and the more  alkaline, the better. "Good" acid foods include nourishing things like:
*Eggs, *Fish, *Chicken,*turkey’ *Brown rice, *Yogurt, * Beef (preferably grass fed and organic). These foods have nutrients that do benefit your body. So it's not necessary to eliminate them. You  just need to make sure to keep them under control, and make sure they represent no more than 50% of your calories. And remember it's NEVER a good idea to eat processed food, fast food or drink soda. Keep those to a bare minimum or preferably none at all.
Step  4- Keep your digestion efficient
In order to keep your digestion humming, it's vital to eat meal combinations that are easily broken down and don't cause your stomach to  over produce acid, and make sure you have adequate enzymes to do the job.

Simply put:
Easy digestion = proper elimination of wastes = a more alkaline pH
Poor digestion = acid waste build-up = Sickness and a  more acid pH

Without the proper enzymes for digestion, you can suffer from
gas, bloating, constipation, waste build-up... and  you'll have a more acidic pH!

So remember--while your weight, blood pressure, cholesterol,  etc. are all very important too, it's vital to keep your eye on the
MOST important number--your pH. Do that and your body will thank you many times over.

Your long term health and water source for living

A video from National Geographic about water, and how it's pollution affect us all.
A little toxin over a long period of time accumulates its poisons in our body system affect
us from the immune system to reproductive organs and cause us to die little by little from water to food to air. we live in a closed ecological system so intimately related by our action and reaction.
The ripple effect is endless.
There is no end to the consequences of an act. Good or bad we shall reap its effects.

Hippocratic Oath and where are the doctors who practice this oath?

Classic Version of the Hippocratic Oath
I swear by Apollo Physician and Asclepius and Hygieia and Panaceia and all the gods and goddesses, making them my witnesses, that I will fulfill according to my ability and judgment this oath and this covenant:
To hold him who has taught me this art as equal to my parents and to live my life in partnership with him, and if he is in need of money to give him a share of mine, and to regard his offspring as equal to my brothers in male lineage and to teach them this art - if they desire to learn it - without fee and covenant; to give a share of precepts and oral instruction and all the other learning to my sons and to the sons of him who has instructed me and to pupils who have signed the covenant and have taken an oath according to the medical law, but no one else.
I will apply dietetic measures for the benefit of the sick according to my ability and judgment; I will keep them from harm and injustice.
I will neither give a deadly drug to anybody who asked for it nor will I make a suggestion to this effect. Similarly, I will not give to a woman an abortive remedy. In purity and holiness, I will guard my life and my art.
I will not use the knife, not even on sufferers from stone, but will withdraw in favor of such men as are engaged in this work.
Whatever houses I may visit, I will come for the benefit of the sick, remaining free of all intentional injustice, of all mischief and in particular of sexual relations with both female and male persons, be they free or slaves.
What I may see or hear in the course of the treatment or even outside of the treatment in regard to the life of men, which on no account one must spread abroad, I will keep to myself, holding such things shameful to be spoken about.
If I fulfil this oath and do not violate it, may it be granted to me to enjoy life and art, being honored with fame among all men for all time to come; if I transgress it and swear falsely, may the opposite of all this be my lot.

A Modern Version of the Hippocratic Oath
I swear to fulfill, to the best of my ability and judgment, this covenant:
I will respect the hard-won scientific gains of those physicians in whose steps I walk, and gladly share such knowledge as is mine with those who are to follow.
I will apply, for the benefit of the sick, all measures which are required, avoiding those twin traps of overtreatment and therapeutic nihilism.
I will remember that there is art to medicine as well as science, and that warmth, sympathy, and understanding may outweigh the surgeon's knife or the chemist's drug.
I will not be ashamed to say "I know not," nor will I fail to call in my colleagues when the skills of another are needed for a patient's recovery.
I will respect the privacy of my patients, for their problems are not disclosed to me that the world may know. Most especially must I tread with care in matters of life and death. If it is given me to save a life, all thanks. But it may also be within my power to take a life; this awesome responsibility must be faced with great humbleness and awareness of my own frailty. Above all, I must not play at God.
I will remember that I do not treat a fever chart, a cancerous growth, but a sick human being, whose illness may affect the person's family and economic stability. My responsibility includes these related problems if I am to care adequately for the sick.
I will prevent disease whenever I can, for prevention is preferable to cure.
I will remember that I remain a member of society, with special obligations to all my fellow human beings, those sound of mind and body as well as the infirm.
If I do not violate this oath, may I enjoy life and art, respected while I live and remembered with affection thereafter? May I always act so as to preserve the finest traditions of my calling and may I long experience the joy of healing those who seek my help.
How many doctors are really practicing the Hippocratic oath these days?  How many doctors are really so noble and honorable as to stick to the oath as prescribed above.
A casual read from www.mercola.com article posted on 16th Aug 2017 headline. Tells the truth about modern medicine and far from following the Hippocratic oath.  Extracts from his article.
One-Third of American Adults Prescribed Opioids Each Year, and Opioid Deaths Now Leading Cause of Death for People Under 50

More than one-third of American adults were prescribed an opioid drug in 2015, and opioid overdoses are now the leading cause of death for Americans under the age of 50

A recent paper17 hints at one of the reasons why opioids are still so vastly overprescribed. Between 2013 and 2015 alone, 68,177 physicians received in excess of $46 million in payments from drug companies marketing narcotic pain relievers.18 In all, that amounts to 1 out of every 12 doctors in the U.S. As noted by pediatrician Scott Hadland, who led the study, "The next step is to understand these links between payments and prescribing practices and overdose deaths."

According to recent research, half of all Americans are living with chronic illness,38 and many addiction specialists believe pain and hopelessness are driving the opioid crisis in the U.S. As noted in The Washington Post:39
As  Mercola pointed out correctly the solutions to pain killer addiction lie in prevention.
Clearly, the U.S. health care system is blatantly ineffective at treating chronic health problems. Whether ill health is promoting hopelessness or the other way around is difficult to ascertain, but the two appear to be closely intertwined and need to be addressed together. Somehow or another, we need to refocus our efforts to create lives worth living and improve access to and information about basic disease prevention, such as healthy foods and foundational health-promoting life style strategies..

Beware of the water that heals and water that kills

The story line that stone can become food for human beings is as old as the Bible.
In Matthew 4:3 the tempter came and said to Him, If you are the Son of God, speak that these stones may become loaves of bread.
Jesus did not do that instead rebuked the devil, the tempter. Today, the same line of reasoning has been used to persuade the masses to drink mineral water. As if the minerals which come from dissolved stone can become our food. This dead, inorganic and lifeless minerals once allowed to enter the human digestion system will damage the human organs, via the circulatory system over a long period of time.
Let’s look at the implication of long term consumption of minerals water this way.
If a person lives for 82 years he has lived 29,930 days. Every day he drinks 2 liters of water from all sources to keep himself alive and healthy. If the minerals in his total water  in taking has  a concentration of   50-90 ppm, the accumulated minerals will come to many kilograms by weight over the next 30,000 days!. These mineral particles will be distributed along the blood vessels route of 120,000 km making up of arteries, veins, and capillaries. Since our human body is composed of about 65% water, these minerals will be deposited in virtually all organs where the blood supplies its nutrients, oxygen, and discharge the waste products such as urea, dead cells, pus and so on. The heart pumps 2000 gallons of blood daily all over this network of vessels. The veins by one way valves.
This unwanted, useless minerals will cause damage to every organ as one aged.Unless excreted by kidneys or sweating these alien minerals will have an accumulated burden to various part of the body.
While the average woman in Singapore should live to 81.8 years, she will likely to spend eight of those years ill or disabled, said the Prognosis published in the Straits Times. Men are also expected to spend eight of their 78 years in poor health.

As we drink two liters of water daily to replace the fluid that is eliminated through urination, sweats, and  dehydration  living in an  air conditioned room, if we fail to drink pure water that is free from inorganic minerals,  and other pollutants such as pesticides, hormones, traces of drugs from raw water, they will all enter our various organs. These unwanted, foreign substance will cause havoc to our organs.

If we use our kidneys to filter these non food substances, whether it is inorganic minerals, other pollutants they will injure our cells and tissues, little by little, day by day over a long period of time. This is how we all die slowly and gradually by installment. Hence the problems of arthritis, glaucoma, cataract, joint pain, kidney failure, heart diseases, arteriosclerosis and other degenerative diseases.
These inorganic minerals present in the water gives one set of problem, but there are other toxins that sneak into our food during processing. That will be food for thoughts for the next post.

The water you consume determines your health!

What is the reason, many people can’t see  the connection between the kind of water we consume daily and our health?
The main factor is our attitude towards  the issue involved.
“Look at everything as though you were seeing it either for the first time or last time, then your time on earth will be filled with glory”  Betty Smith, a tree grows in Broooklyn. We must have this sense of wonder and  a heart of discovery at learning new  things.
“Sit down before fact as a child,
Be prepared to give up every pre-conceived notion.
Follow humbly where nature leads ,or you will learn nothing.”
Thomas Huxley
This is how important it  is to maintain an open mind, that Is free from prejudice and welcome facts in examine any new issue facing us.
“It is harder to crack prejudice than an atom”  Albert Einstein
Attitude by Charles Swindoll.
"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company ... a church ... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude ... I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me, and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you ... we are in charge of our Attitudes."
Arm with such a sound attitude we are ready to examine the water issue. As William James said,” Human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitudes of mind.”
·        Ralph Nader Study group after reviewing over 10,000 documents acquired through the freedom of information acts stated that the US drinking water contains more than 2100 toxic chemicals that can cause cancer.
·        In a 1995 Science Advisory Report to the EPA(Environment Protection Agency) it was stated that “when two or more of these contaminants combine in our water the potency may be increased by as much as 1000 times
·        The world health organization and the National cancer institute both suggest that most human cancers, perhaps as many as 90% are caused by chemical carcinogens in the environment. This realization is paramount for change because it means that most cancers could be prevented by minimizing or eliminating our exposure to chemical carcinogens.
·        In Malaysia the environment where raw water is extracted to process the tap water the situation is no better than that in America. University Malaya scientist Dr Tan Guan Huat said,” A survey of 25 rivers in the country showed significant level of the banned pesticides DDT and heptachlor among other chemical residues. (Star 30 April 1992)
·        The Selangor river dam which provides 70% of the water in Selangor and Federal Territory has a storage capacity of 230 mil cubic meter supplies 65% of the water used by 7.3 million consumers.
·        According to  to Star newspaper 5th May  2004, 7 out of 10 men age 50 and above in Klang Valley suffer from two or more chronic illnesses, heart diseases, hypertension, diabetes, erectile dysfunction.
·        8 million Malaysians have high blood pressure (25 Sept 2005 New straits Times)
·        IN 1900 only one out of 500 had cancer or 200:100,000 but this number has already risen to 1 in 3 or every second person  by the year 2000. The American Cancer society now predicts  by 2020 everybody in the world will have cancer.

All the above quotes and statements from various authorities are a reality of the health crisis confronting humanity. As  water is  a big component of our human body, polluted water once enter our bodies will wage havoc to our immune system, and  injured our organs over a period of time and manifesting in various diseases such as cancers, heart diseases and other degenerating diseases.
So what kind of water enters your mouth  today?  It is pure? It is free from toxins? Your health depends on it.

Don't depend on doctor for your personal health

How the insured died and  death claim from a local life insurer.

A Farmers grow fruits and vegetables for a living. Mechanics repair vehicles for wages, doctors are supposed to heal sick patients for a living. But, why are there so many sick people in advanced society and doctors are not the answers to better health.
Here is why.
Most primary care physicians have 7-22 minutes to spend with each patient, according to Dr Christine Gerbstadt, a staff physician at Walter Reed National Military medical center in Bethesda. With such short time in a personal encounter with patients, there is no time to educate the patients about life style change and diet. Giving them drugs then become a quick fix to sickness,
Only 21% of the US medical schools offer medical students the recommended 25 hours of nutrition education. (2015 report in Journal of Biomedical Education) On the average US medical schools offer only 19.6 hours of nutrition education across four years of medical schools, according to 2010 report in Academic Medicine.
Doctors receive failing grade on nutrition knowledge. According to a 2016 study in the International Journal of Adolescent Medicine and Health assessed the basic nutritional knowledge of fourth year medical/osteopathic school graduates entering a pediatric programe and found that on the average the incoming interns answered only 52 % of the 18 questions correctly.
With such poor focus and negligence in nutrition education, no wonder the cost of health care sky rocketed. A lifestyle of consuming convenient foods which are saturated with chemicals, preservatives  and toxins. A stressful working life, lack of exercise and insufficient  sleep contributed to  premature deaths and sicknesses of all sort.
Prevention is the key to better health as a whole to society at large.
Allow me to cite some examples.
Eric Storm(1897-2000) a young man who lived in 1920s in Java working with Butterworth & Co, a commodity trader. After world war 1  made a killing in commodity due to chronic shortage of sugar, tea, coffee, rice and rubber . He had a heart attack at age 34  and weight  230 lbs was a compulsive drinker  and smoker
After this close call with death, he turned to life style change, diet study longevity . He survived a further 69 years and died peacefully at age 103 in Sydney  24 Feb 2000.   He followed  the Hippocrates(460-370 BC) wisdom of   Let your food be your remedy and your remedy be your food.
Second example is  John D Rockeller ( 8th July 1839-23rd May 1937)  98 years old.
In 1901, the Rockefeller institute  for Medical Research  was officially launched first of its kind in America , a  year later Rockefeller add another $ 1 Million to the original $200 million endowment to build up and equip a major laboratory on upper East side of New York city.
John maintaining a basic distrust in modern medicine  while spending millions to sponsor its advance, depended a homeopath  Dr H F Biggar as a personal physician.
( pg 60 The Rockefeller ,An American Dynasty  by Peter  Collier & David  Horowitz)

Just as John D Rockeller, did not trust modern medicine, the smarter doctors turn to alternative source for health maintenance. Here is the details.

They work impossible hours, hang around in germ-infested hospitals, and treat rooms filled with sick people all day -- yet they don't fall ill themselves. Why?
We asked hundreds of leading doctors this question and their answers may shock you. They're secretly using blacklisted alternative therapies themselves! Now let more than 250 acclaimed MDs and scientists show you how to...

In the mid-1960s, more than 7,000 students at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill took a personality test that included questions measuring their tendency to be optimistic or pessimistic. While most of the participants fell somewhere in the middle, 1,630 were considered to be pessimists and 923 to be optimists. Tracking them over the next four decades, researchers discovered that the most pessimistic study participants had a 42% greater likelihood of dying from any cause than the most optimistic participants. These results were published in the December 2006 issue of the Mayo Clinic Proceedings medical journal.
Just as Eric Storm found health outside the conventional western trained road to better health and quality life, you are better off doing the same.
