When Jehovah and His servant Moses conducted one of the biggest exodus in
history and led 603,000 men of ages 20 to 60 into the wilderness( Number
2:32) there were children and women as well. Assume the women and children
were of another two third, this will make the total population in the
exodus at 1.8 million.
How did these large number of
people have their need for water satisfy?
Remember they could not
live without water even for three days. where did these water come from?
The book of psalm 105:41
gives us a picture of this water supply. He opened the rock and water
gushed forth. It ran in the dry places like a river. Only a flowing river of
water could satisfy the need of such large
number of people.
Notice the word rock, and water gushed out like a river. If the
rock were not hard as granite, the water would have eroded the surface, it was
impermeable and water was running on its surface. The river bed were also
of hard surface otherwise the water
would have disappeared into the soil and not
overflowed like a river.
The water gushed out of the rock and is running, this meant the
water had no contact with soil or other soft rock and running water has no time
to dissolve surface soft stone or soil on its path.
As shown in the photos
above taken from water falls in Sungai
Chilling, Kampar water falls, my total dissolved solid(TDS) meter has a reading
of zero (0) part per million (PPM)
This means the water from the rock during Moses time, was of the highest
quality and as pure as distilled water.
I also measured the water quality from these two places and found them to be
very clean and pure- with a 0 ppm reading.
No wonder none of the 1.8 million people wondering in the
wilderness for forty years were sick. Moses, Caleb and Joshua were of excellent
health in their old age. Joshua 14:10-11 as they all drank water from the rock.
At age 120 Moses were in top forms from eye to physical vitality. Deuteronomy 34:7
In contrast Isaac drank water from wells dug by Abraham
and he himself for his family as
mentioned in Gen 26:15,18-22. In his old
age his eyes became so dim, that Jacob could deceive him pretended to be Esau. (Gen
27:1)
The lesson from these story
concerning the quality of water we consumed
has great implication for today population. Besides, inorganic minerals
which obstruct the smooth of blood to
the cells of all the organs in the body, the toxins from the environment
whether from water and food, has greatly
adversely affected the health of the masses, as is shown in www.worldlifeexpecancy.com.

IN 1995 Science Advisory Report to the EPA it was stated that "when two or more of these contaminants combine in our water the potency may be increased by as much as 1000 times.
ReplyDeleteNo level of contaminants in the water is save.
Every 7 out of 10 men above the age of 50 in Klang valley suffer from 2 or more chronic diseases such as heart diseases, hypertension, diabetes and erectile dysfunction.(5/5/2004 star )
ReplyDelete8 millions Malaysians have high blood pressure.(25 Sept 2005 NST)
in 1900 only 1 out of 500 has cancer or 200:100,000 this number has already risen to 1 in 3 or every 2nd person by the year 2000 American cancer society now predicts that by 2020 everybody in the world will have cancer.
in Malaysian, the two major killers are cancers and heart diseases,
why? such terror incidence of sicknesses?
This has a lot to do with environmental toxins, from water especially.
Most of the 7.3 million Klang Valley residents get the water from Selangor dam up to 70% of water has a capacity of 230 million cu meter. The raw water is drawn from rivers in the state, most of them highly polluted. Indah water consortium also discharged treated sewage into the rivers.
If we drink water like most people do, the same disease will inflict its harm on us.
